General Terms and Conditions

Article 1 – Definitions

1.1. HOUSEWINE: the company selling wine and related products via the webshop.
1.2. Customer: any natural person or legal entity entering into an agreement with HOUSEWINE.
1.3. Agreement: any purchase agreement concluded via the webshop.
1.4. Products: all goods offered via the webshop.

Article 2 – Applicability
2.1. These general terms and conditions apply to all offers, orders, and agreements of HOUSEWINE.
2.2. By placing an order, the Customer agrees to these terms and conditions.
2.3. Deviations are only valid if agreed upon in writing.

Article 3 – Offers and Prices
3.1. All offers are non-binding and may be changed by HOUSEWINE.
3.2. Prices are stated in euros and include VAT, unless indicated otherwise.
3.3. Obvious errors or mistakes in the offer are not binding on HOUSEWINE.

Article 4 – Orders and Agreement
4.1. The agreement is concluded once HOUSEWINE confirms the order.
4.2. HOUSEWINE reserves the right to refuse orders or request additional information.
4.3. The sale of alcoholic beverages is only permitted to persons aged 18 and over. By placing an order, the Customer declares to meet this requirement.

Article 5 – Payment
5.1. Payment must be made using the payment methods offered in the webshop.
5.2. Orders will only be shipped after full payment has been received.
5.3. In the event of late payment, the Customer shall be in default by operation of law.

Article 6 – Delivery
6.1. HOUSEWINE aims to deliver orders within the indicated timeframe.
6.2. Delivery takes place at the address provided by the Customer.
6.3. HOUSEWINE is not liable for delays caused by third parties (such as delivery services).
6.4. Age verification may take place upon delivery.

Article 7 – Right of Withdrawal (Returns)
7.1. The Customer has the right to withdraw from the agreement within 14 days without giving any reason.
7.2. This period starts on the day the product is received.
7.3. Products must be returned unopened, undamaged, and in their original packaging.
7.4. The costs of return shipping are borne by the Customer, unless agreed otherwise.
7.5. After receipt of the returned products, the purchase amount will be refunded within 14 days.

Article 8 – Complaints
8.1. Complaints must be reported within a reasonable time after discovery via customer service.
8.2. HOUSEWINE will handle complaints as quickly as possible and provide an appropriate solution.

Article 9 – Liability
9.1. HOUSEWINE shall only be liable for direct damage resulting from intent or gross negligence.
9.2. HOUSEWINE is not liable for indirect damage, such as consequential loss or loss of profit.
9.3. Liability is limited to the amount of the relevant order.

Article 10 – Force Majeure
10.1. In the event of force majeure, HOUSEWINE is not obliged to fulfill its obligations.
10.2. Force majeure includes any circumstance beyond the control of HOUSEWINE, such as system failures, transport issues, or government measures.

Article 11 – Privacy
11.1. HOUSEWINE processes personal data in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

Article 12 – Governing Law and Disputes
12.1. All agreements are governed by the laws of Belgium.
12.2. Disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in the district where HOUSEWINE is established.

Article 13 – Final Provisions
13.1. HOUSEWINE reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions.
13.2. The most recent version is always available on the webshop.
